Hello girlies,
I'm finally back.
I'm sleeping over at the BF's thus the access to internet! He's asleep so I have the whole comp to myself! I actually fell asleep while looking at him DOTA'ing a few hours ago but my hunger woke me up, lol. So now I'm munching on bread and biscuits while blogging.
I haven't gamed in a week. My WCG comp will only be arriving on Wednesday.
The BF will be paying for my internet. Elated! I have yet hunt for a cheap comp table though.
I can't wait, can't wait! I went down to WCG'08(World Cyber Games) today to pay the down payment for the new PC. There were a lot of people, dim lighting, loud speakers, live casting of the matches and lotsa cosplay characters. I wanted to take pics of them but there were way too many people. I only manage to snap a quick pic of the tournament area.
I want to take part next year!

What I wore to the WCG today. I love mini skirts. ;D

My EOTD although it's not very clear.
Yes, eyelid stickers on.
I had dark brown eyeshadow on my lower lashline(is that what you call it? lol) + shimmery white eyeliner from 'Face Shop' and also pearl eyeshadow around my brow bone to make me look fresher.
I think I look kinda crappy and funny here, with my messy hair. -_-

Ok, onto the more beauty related stuff, lol.
Here are my hair care tips, if anyone is interested!
I'm rather anal about my skin and hair.
I read quite a bit on it and am trying ways to minimize hairloss as much as possible because my family has hairloss heredity and I really do not want to be one of them. T.T
Wash your hair daily
I know some people are against this idea, esp those with longer hair.
It is OK not to wash it daily if you have dry scalp.
But for normal to oily scalps, you should wash it daily as the sebum produced on your scalp will cause hair fall. Excessive sebum secreted will lead to pore clogging, thus the malnutrition of the hair root. Over time, the sebum combines with cholesterol to create a hardened plug which cuts off oxygen from the hair follicle and thus starving it of air.
So, wash and massage your scalp daily!
Do not scratch your scalp!
I used to scratch my scalp alot when I'm bored.
I will use my finger tips to feel for pimples or hardened plugs and then scratch them off! lol.
I enjoy doing that alot, lol, until I found out that when you do that, you hurt your scalp and your hair falls out even more.
It's similar to why people say 'Don't pick at your pimples' and 'Keeping your hands off your face' will reduce worsening of the skin condition. It applies to your hair too.
Conditioning your hair
I don't do intensive treatments for my hair.
But I do condition my hair every day. I used 'Pantene Anti-hairfall' and 'Smooth and Silky', alternating between them every week and I only apply them starting from the half-length of my hair till the ends. Let them sit for 5 minutes and then wash it off with tepid water and then finish with cold water.
Cold water smooths your hair and make your hair shines! =)
Hair Loss Prevention
After washing my hair, I like to spray this hair tonic on my scalp and use a round bristled brush to massage my scalp for about 5 minutes. I'm still trying this product out because it works for my mom who suffers from hairloss. Seen, heard and tested. So it's a must try.
So far so good for me and also lesser hair fall these days.
'Hair Tonic'
Contains: Salicylic Acid, Menthol, Propylene Glycol, Carmoisine, Caramel, Capigen, Alcohol, Water

Round bristled brush for massaging.
Massage, massage...
If you like, you can also use your finger tips instead of a brush.
Massaging is vital for hair health. It stimulates blood circulation and increases hair growth.
Leave-In Treatment
After the hair tonic, I apply this leave-in treatment that repairs your damaged hair.
It smells really nice too. I apply this to the ends of the hair only.

I've been using this for years now because I straighten my hair every 1.5 years which is very damaging and this product has been performing well. I don't trim my hair often, maybe once in 6 months or a year and I have no spilt ends.
Hydrating Inside Out
Drinking lots of water helps improve your hair and skin condition for sure.
It makes a hell lot of difference just by drinking at least 5 glasses a day.
I don't like drinking plain boiled water so I always add honey to my water but I never get pass 8 glasses a day. lol.
Sleep, Sleep, Sleep!
Not forgetting, the beauty sleep! It's vital. It's essential!
Your body repairs while you sleep.
Definitely helps the hair and skin as well.
Killing 2 birds with one stone! Woot.
Finally, some pics of my hair today.
Don't I look eerie? hahah, like sadako from 'The Ring'.
Tied up!
And that's it, my hair care tips and routine.
I hope it helps in a way or two. =)
What are your haircare tips and routine? I would love to learn from you guys too!
Loves,
Ling

You look super cute even with minimal makeup, and definitely looking hot in a mini skirt!
Oh geez, you hair is sooo long that you have to take care of it diligently! I like to use a different shampoo for my scalp than for the rest of hair. I use this one that makes hair thicker, and less limp. :]
Hi fuz!
I see that you like volume quite a bit. lol. For me, my hair is a tad too thick. =/
Thanks for the compliments, doll! =D
You have such healthy long hair. How long did it take you to grow it that long?
Welcome back! Wow your hair is so long, I'm envious. I've never had the patience to grow it that long. Anyway, great tips. I should massage my scalp more often like you do. I heard it stimulates hair growth.
omg your hair is crazy long! But it looks so healthy and your hair care routine is certainly paying off!
